Bike Florida 2008 is a week-long fully-supported bicycle camping tour pedaling approximately 300 miles in the beautiful Gulf Coast counties of Florida. This year’s ride starts in Clearwater. Cyclists will ride 40-60 miles daily with an optional century. Bike Florida is fully supported with luggage trucks, SAG and mechanical support, and rest stops every 12-15 miles.

The tour is leisurely-paced and is designed to be a fun and relaxing vacation for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

• Flatlands surround the numerous lakes, and the low, rolling hills are covered with orange groves and cattle pastures.
• Routes are well-marked and excellent maps are provided. Rides are done at your own pace, so this event is perfect for riders of all levels of experience.
• Enjoy the warm lake breezes from the rocking chairs on the Lodge’s large front porch, swim in the delightful pool, catch up with old friends and make new ones. Relax in front of the lobby television featuring bicycling videos. Lounge by the pool in the shade of oak trees.
